Be still and know that I am God

Be still

Stop turning toward man-made things
Stay in your body
Don’t pick up your phone
Don’t scroll
Do not strive
Be still

Be still and know that I am God

Know that I AM

Notice me
Notice what I’ve done
Notice what I continue to do
Notice what you feel
Notice me talking to you

Be still and know that I am God

I am God
I AM

Are you turning to the One who created you?

Or are you turning to something that was created?

The creator gives life.

I am God; let me form you.
What is forming you now?

Know that I am God
Know that I give you breath
Know how much I care for you
Know that I provide
Know that you bear my image
Know that you can’t be separated from my love

Be still and know that I am God

Inhabit your body

Notice
Listen

I will show you that you can trust me
If you only be still

Be still long enough for me to show you that I am still God
